Note:

These new Modulars are a continuum of the Infinex Series that again, take on the importance of Colour. They are flat to the surface, two-dimensional colour paintings, that carry the conviction of their shapes and should be looked at as pure painting, with a sensory immediacy and relevance; removing all artifice and without reference to illusion, drawing, collage, cubism and narrative. The series emphasise the colour, the process and the event. Everything in the construction is an interplay of shapes and colours; the clarification and articulation of the idea is achieved through the physical reality of material and can be defined as architectural geometry in space; their handling is never disguised. These Infinex paintings are multifarious, space defining Colour Structures, constructed without boundaries and are integral to Paintings historical genre of Colour Abstraction.
Sydney Ball, Sydney, 2012 Greenberg, Clement. T
