Nude and the Moon is, as John Henshaw has claimed,
a meditation on the idea of correspondence, the correspondence of sphere,
breast, flower and moon, of hills, flesh and tree – that is of
body and earth. It also sustains a correspondence of scientific conceptions
and spiritual perception
